Relevant departments may have their own specific visitor policies; compliance with these is mandatory. Patient visits are limited to 2 people at a time, which is of great importance for the patient’s health. Patient visits take place within the time frame determined by our hospital. Bringing food or drinks to the patient from outside is strictly forbidden. Children under the age of 12 are prohibited from visiting patients. It is important to wear clean clothes when visiting for the sake of the patient’s health. Smoking is prohibited within Healthcare Institutions. It is recommended not to bring gifts other than books, magazines, newspapers, hygienic care products (cologne, paper napkins, paper towels, tissues), and harmless toys for children when visiting the patient. Live flowers are not permitted in the patient room. Our visiting hours are set between 09:00 and 23:00 for the comfort and safety of our patients.
Whether a patient requires a companion is determined by the patient’s doctor. The number of companions is limited to one person. The companion should not be present next to the patient during rounds and medical care. A companion card will be provided to the companion by the Ward’s responsible nurse. The companion assists in the patient’s care to the extent permitted. The companion must comply with all rules set by the hospital. Companion practice is not available in some clinics.
Note: It should be remembered that apart from these main rules, each clinic may establish its own specific companion policy.
